The Next Generation Turf
A long way from Houston in 1965.
The 2nd International Artificial Turf Congress 2008 takes place at the newly constructed Stade de Suisse Wankdorf in the Swiss capital of Bern. The congress brings together the foremost experts speaking on the newest trends in sports turf technology, site tours of recently installed synthetic turf fields and exclusive networking events. The congress offers a unique opportunity to encourage the cooperation of investors, public authorities, and stadium operators together with architects, landscape architects, consultants, turf-seed producers, synthetic turf suppliers and contractors. The congress is not focused exclusively on synthetic turf and will present some possibilities of natural turf in modern multiplex-stadiums and encourage discussion comparing the two main turf options.
